Dinner at Mom and Dad's.

Nothing new, Oh besides the fact that the ginger does not work anymore!!! I just thought I would at least post and let you all know that I am alive. We went to my moms house for dinner and it was lovely. She is almost all done with it and because of that she likes to cook. in her new gourmet kitchen. Thank goodness for that!!!. My Dad made a wonderful prime rib, which I have never eaten before, and let me say it was so good. Too bad it came back up, but at least I got to enjoy it for the time being. I gave my mom her new house gift.....A scentsy warmer with the Baked Apple Pie Scent. I was happy that she loved it so much. I love mine it fills the house with a wonderful scent. Anyways thanks so much for the dinner Mom and Dad it was great! I love you guys soooooo much!!!

Ginger to the rescue.

Kevin woke up on Friday and decided he did not want his wife in bed complaining about nausea anymore!!! So he looked online for secret nausea remedies and such. He found that ginger, lemon and honey are old ways to battle the vomitous nature of the pregnant lady. He came home with fresh ginger, ginger tablets, honey and ginger powder stuff. I always roll my eyes at his non medication nature. He got that from his Dad who hates docs and drugs. Two of the things that I have found to save me from my wretchful pregnant life. Anyways, I took it reluctantly and had the best day that I have had in 10 days. It may have been my psychological response to the remedy but either way I was able to make dinner, clean the kitchen, feed all the WJ police officers baked potato soup, and even light a fire in the bedroom (wink, wink) if you know what I mean! So I took another ginger thing before bed and was able to go to the grocery store, sadly I dry heaved in the aisle of store and embarrassed Ku'uipo. She looked up at me with panic in her eyes asking me if I needed a drink. I could not respond because I was concentrating on breathing. Kevin came back from the aisle with ginger snaps, convinced that any form of ginger would do! By the time we got home I needed a nap and another ginger deal. Well it worked for the sutle nausea but today it is not as promising. Maybe because I am soooooo tired!?! I just love Kevin for trying and maybe it will work, but I know I may need to pull out the big guns that my doc prescribed me. He does not want me to have a PICC line so he says take the pills if needed. I will save those for when I am not keeping anything down and the dehydration is bad, but as for now the ginger is the real deal!

Pickle Strike!

I cannot believe that I am already pregnant sick. I mean I layed in bed nearly all day. I am exhausted and nauseated. I think it is bad because I am working nights and it takes me like 2 days to catch up on sleep. I was so wanting pickles at work the other night and of course there is no food place open at work, so I called my honey Kevin and he brought me those big fat pickles from Maverik. I ate a ton and 8 hours later they came back up and out. I cannot stand to think about them or smell them. Ke'Lao wanted one tonight and I could not bear it. So no pickles! Yuck.

Picture Tag!

Shauna tagged anyone and so I took it. The fourth picture in my fourth folder.

This is way funny. Kevin and I had some fun in New York taking pictures of people, all types, beautiful, scary, unique and well...strange. This man carried a woman's red purse and I thought it was funny so I took a pic.

I tag anyone who wants to participate.

Witch Hotties and ghouls!

We went to the Witch Festival thingy at Gardner Village. I was hoping the kids would be able to pick a pumpkin there. I am not sure why I thought there would be a pumpkin, but that is what I told them we were doing. It was so cold that we only took pictures, and went into a few shops, much to the dismay of the owners who did not like our brood of people, or miniature people. When we were leaving our kiddies kept saying where is the pumpkins? I told them the pumpkin patch would have to be on Monday since the witches do not have anymore left! All the kiddies that came on our adventure. It is all my kids, Brittnie's kids, and Kee'Onu's friend Connor and Ku'uipo's friend Lexy.
My Ki'Aja looking so sweet and cute.
This is a family picture that Brittnie took, but when we looked at it we realized that there is a woman in our picture....Well hello woman!
Kee'Onu I assume playing dead.
Oh here is the lovely family. They are all my loves!
Sexy Brittnie, she looks good as a witch!!!
Me and Brittnie with the witch.
I know I am hot!!!!

Crazy fun pics.

This is Ke'Lao trying to fit into Kee'Onu's way too big hockey equipment. He cannot wait until he can play himself. January I think he will start the smart start skate program. He will be fire on the ice!
This is Ku'uipo before school. her hair looked so pretty after I took out the french braids that I had to take a pic and post it!
So this is going to become the famous "Were having another baby pic" This is the face of Kee'Onu and Ku'uipo when they finally understand all of our clues. Sasha is in the middle and at this point she still did not get it. We bought the kids a mini baby's first Christmas stocking stuffed with baby bottle pops, a jar of baby food, mini bubbly glasses, baby cheese, baby candy bars, etc. Kee'Onu understood right away and when he did he eyes lit up. Excuse the red eyes because that is the nature of my lovely camera.
This is kids trying to figure out what the clues are all about. We told them on Kevin's birthday and then we called all the family that wasn't there and told them.

Edward and Bella.

I know most of my family will laugh at me for this post but they are just jealous that they cannot read a book and get so involved in it that your imagination takes you to a place that you never thought possible. Anyways, I love the Twilight series books. I am not obsessed and I have only read them each once--All within 10 days, but besides that I love the books and the characters and the idea of it all. So as I was driving the long drive today to get my kids from school and the song by Matt Nathanson came on and I realized that it would be perfect for the Twilight movie and Bella and Edwards story of love! So I put the song on so you can all hear the words and remember the love of two people. Now I want to be able to read the Book of Mormon as fast as I read these. Goal #1.

Tell me what you all think, am I just weird???

Pregnant life update---This morning I woke up nauseated got out of bed, brushed my teeth and found that the dry heaving gag was inevitable. I have a fear of vomiting, I believe it is because I have no control over what my body is doing. The uncontrollable stomach retching is awful. I need to find a way to get over the fear of this. You would think after 4 very sick pregnancy's I would be over it, but after today, Um that would be a NO!

Best Buds!

Since Keo has started school Aja has had a hard time adjusting to the fact that her playmate is gone. It is sad for her but yet I am finding that it is a wonderful time for Kev and I to play with her and dote on her. She sure does enjoy that. She also gets so excited to go and drive the 25 minutes to pick them up. Too bad that she falls asleep nearly everyday in the car. What a sweet joy she is.

So since I am pregnant here is some venting that I must do. I have to give myself painful shots everyday twice a day. For those of you who do not know, I have a clotting disorder that was discovered when I was pregnant with Ki'Aja. It can be life threatening and in order to prevent blood clots I have to give myself shots, IN THE STOMACH, where the baby is, it is awkward but a must. I usually have the lovenox but the shots are $2200 a month, and my portion of that is $440. So I had to do the mail order 3 month supply and it is only $87. I am so thankful for insurance! The lovenox is not here yet, so In the meantime I have to give myself heparin shots, which are painful. My tummy is already black and blue, due to the blood thinner. So the lovenox should be here this week and that will be good and less painful.

I am exhausted and the early signs of nausea are beginning. I have what I call pass-out moments where I see a bed and cannot resist to lay down and fall asleep. This can be dangerous with 4 children running around. So I have to stay far away from the bed when I am supposed to be the mom. But again sometimes it happens and my kiddies are amazing at playing by themselves, like in the hose so they flood the sandbox, and the neighbors yard, in the cereal which is spilled everywhere on the floor, in paint, fingernail polish, on the phone calling 911, and you name it...They have done it when I fall asleep. So hopefully the energy will return and then I can return to being the mom.

Looks like one of Kevin's Little guys got through!!!!!!

So we found out about a week and a half ago that we are having BABY #5!!! I am so happy! I have to say that not everyone or hardly anyone is happy about it, partly because of Ki'Aja and the traumatic delivery and the nearly loss of life, (MINE) that is. But we are happy. We told the kids tonight and they are happy. If I learn how to upload video I will show you all their reactions. Here is what the kids are thinking we are having:

Ke'Lao: Boy and a Girl.... I wish it was twins- We would love to have twins!

Kee'Onu: Girl

Ku'uipo: Girl

Ki'Aja: Baby then she said it was a girl.

Kev and I think it is a boy. I do not care what it is, I just want it to be here and safe and healthy. I will use this blog as a way to update you all and to vent about my hopefully wonderful pregnancy and lovely vomiting that may begin soon, but hopefully will not!

So baby #5 is due June 08, 2009. According to my lovely Doctor it most likely will come earlier since all 4 of my kiddies were premature, so maybe a May baby, possibly even another April--We shall see. Now, my main stress is finding a name, it has to have so many criteria to fit, thanks to KEVIN. It has to start with a K, it has to have a 3 letter nickname, it has to have a place for an apostrophe, and it has to have a Hawaiian or Polynesian background (even though Aja's does not it still sounds like it could be) for instance:

Kee'Onu----Kee, Ku'uipo----Ipo, Ke'Lao----Keo, Ki'Aja---Aja. I am serious that this is a huge stress! If you have any suggestions we would love to hear it. I think and think and pray about my kids names, so I have to start early to be sure it is the right one. So help and suggest please, I will take them all into consideration. Love you all!

Happy Birthday Kevin Troy!

My Dear Love is 32 today. He is at work and wont be home until tonight but I wanted everyone to know that he is a year older and even more wise! If you get a chance call him to wish him a happy birthday. He doesn't like parties and so we are just doing the cake and ice cream thing with the fam. Let me just name several reasons why I love him so very much.....

  • He always makes me laugh. I love when he laughs so hard it looks like he doesn't have any eyes.

  • He is the best dad. He wrestles with the kids (although sometimes he doesn't even know his own strength and the kids end up crying to mommy), he takes every moment to teach the kids even if it is 10PM and they are supposed to be in bed! He was the mom to the kids for 2 years while I was in nursing school, and he even painted nails and attempted to do the girls hair.

  • He has a deep rooted testimony of the gospel. He has unwavering faith that keeps me afloat when my own will not. He gets excited about sharing the gospel and teaching others what he knows.

  • He works hard for us everyday. Even when he does not want to.

  • He SHINES! He is a light in our life and laughter in our home. I love him so much! I cannot wait to grow old with him or he can grow old and I will just watch. Ya that sounds good!

Love you so much Kevin. Here is a message from each kid on your lovely birthday.

Ke'Lao: I love Daddy because he makes me macaroni, he lets me have ice cream. I love him cause he lets me watch TV. He throws spiderman at me and I punch him.

Kee'Onu: Happy Birthday, I love you because he helps our city and he helps us clean and he buys me games, and he paintballs with me.

Ki'Aja: Love Dinner. Lets me talk on phone.

Ku'uipo: I love you Daddy because you wrestle with me, and you play with me.
